Introducing . . . Katie's Awesome New Book!

Isn't the cover splashing? Yes, I know, bad pun.

Seriously, though. Isn't it cool?

Here's the blurb:

Shea MacNamara's life just got complicated.

After a freak tornado devastates his Oklahoma farm, the fifteen-year-old orphan moves to Cape Cod to live with a grandmother he's never met. Struggling to make sense of his new surroundings, he meets a girl along the shore who changes his life forever.

Kae belongs to an undersea world hidden from drylanders. The daughter of royal servants, she knows the planned marriage of her Princess to the foreign King should put an end to the war between the clans. Two things stand in the way of lasting peace: an ambitious Regent and rumors of a half-human child who will save the oceans.

Sparks fly when she meets Shea, but could the cute drylander really be the Son of a Mermaid?
Doesn't that just wet your appetite for a good story? You can buy it here. Also go check out Katie's blog. She is awesome!

Take the knife out of my back, please.

First, take a look at this gorgeous cover! Don't you love it?

I do.

Nicki Elson is releasing this divine read today! You can even check out the way cool trailer here.

Okay, so this is the part where I share the blurb with you, and then let you decide if it's something you want to read. But I'm going to do things a bit differently today. I'm going to share my gut reactions to the blurb in a different font and color. Hopefully, Nicki won't mind.

Maggie Brock has everything under control. Even her divorce, though painful at the time, only registers as a minor blip in her carefully constructed universe. Her life in Prairie Oaks has once again returned to a smooth, predictable pace...until an angel shows up in her bedroom.

The angel is just as bewildered as Maggie . . . "bewildered," I'd be terrified if a strange man appeared in my bedroom . . . about why he's been sent to her, but their unsuccessful efforts to gain understanding of the mystery fade to the background as their relationship grows. Soon, Maggie's biggest problem becomes the angel himself, as her feelings for him develop into something less than saintly.

While Maggie struggles to keep her desires pure, a nefarious being lurks in the shadows of Prairie Oaks, watching and waiting for the opportunity to fulfill his ambiguous purpose. *Raises hand* I know who it is! Or rather, who it must be. Her Ex, right? Watching in the shadows, lurking in her life for nefarious purposes. But wait, no . . . this isn't Cruel Intentions. I'm wrong.

Preying on her conflicted emotions, the demon manipulates her at every opportunity, but the one to deliver Maggie directly into his hands is the last person she'd expect.

Betrayal! Ouch. Don't you hate it when that happens? Someone take the knife out of my back, please. You guys have got to admit this book looks like an awesome read. Nicki is great and no one deserves to sell her stories more than she does. So please consider buying a copy. You can find it here or here
